Welcome to Hill Cottage

Located on a South facing, sheltered spot, which is a natural sun trap, the cottage overlooks the village of Cannich, the river and the Strath. This comfortable, cosy cottage which accommodates three adults and a small dog consists of one twin bedroom, a single bedroom, recently upgraded shower room, dining kitchen, sitting room and ample storage. All electric with fridge, microwave, washer drier, new oven, hob, television, CD player and pay phone. The ideal place to relax after a day outdoors. There is full vehicle access to the front door.


View of the Loch Scotland’s highest mountains are only a fifteen minute drive away. Wildlife abounds with red deer, roe deer, foxes, otters, pine martin, red squirrel, buzzards, golden eagles, ospreys, capercaillie, rare crested tits, Scottish crossbills, tarmigan as well as dragon flies, frogs, toads and adders - all resident in the area which has three National nature Reserves, one in each of the three Glens plus the RSPB reserve at Corrimony only a few miles from Cannich.

The village of Cannich supports a shop incorporating a post office and two pubs. Food is available both locally at the pubs and at the caravan site. A further four excellent restaurants are located within a seven mile radius of the village. Famous Loch Ness is only a fifteen minute drive away and both Inverness and Beauly are 40 minutes drive away. Cannich is ideally located as a springboard for day trips to the north and West coasts including the Island of Skye.
